Refund Policy

Effective Date: 1st April, 2026

This Refund Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service (“Terms”), which govern your use of Zenious. In the event of any conflict between this Refund Policy and the Terms, the Terms shall prevail.

By purchasing or using Zenious, you agree to both this Refund Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Relationship with Terms of Service

This Refund Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Terms of Service.

  • Limitation of Liability

  • Termination

Refund eligibility is subject to compliance with these Terms.

2. Subscription Fees

Zenious offers subscription-based access to its platform, which may include usage-based credits.

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annually)

  • Access is provisioned immediately upon successful payment

As outlined in the Billing and Payments section of the Terms, all fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in this Refund Policy.

3. Credit-Based Usage

Zenious operates on a usage-based model:

  • 1 credit = 1 minute of exported video or generated document output

  • Credits are consumed upon usage, including:

    • Video exports

    • Document exports

    • Translation exports

    • Other processing actions such as replacing video segments

As defined under Use of Services in the Terms, consumption of credits constitutes delivery of the service.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • The request is made within 14 days of purchase, and

  • Credits have not been consumed, and

  • Usage has not exceeded reasonable evaluation limits (including no exports, AI processing, or content generation)

Refunds, if approved, may be issued as:

  • Full refunds, or

  • Partial refunds at Zenious’ discretion

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Credits that have been consumed (in full or part)

  • Any processed output, including:

    • Exported videos

    • Translated content

    • Exported Documents

  • Subscription periods that have already been used

  • Custom work, onboarding, or professional services

  • Third-party costs

6. Annual Subscriptions

For annual plans:

  • Refunds may be considered for the unused portion only

  • Consumed credits will be deducted

  • Refunds, if approved, will be issued on a pro-rated basis

Termination and billing implications are further governed by the Termination section of the Terms.

7. Enterprise and Custom Agreements

For enterprise customers:

  • Refunds are governed by the executed agreement (e.g., MSA)

  • In case of conflict, the contract terms take precedence over this policy and the Terms

8. Failed Transactions & Duplicate Charges

In cases of:

  • Duplicate billing

  • Failed transactions where funds were debited

Please contact us. Upon verification:

  • Duplicate charges will be refunded in full

  • Failed payments will be reversed per payment provider timelines

9. How to Request a Refund

Submit requests to:

Include:

  • Registered email

  • Invoice/transaction details

  • Reason for request

Requests are reviewed in accordance with this policy and the Terms.

10. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Timelines may vary based on the payment provider, as described under Billing and Payments in the Terms.

11. Foreign Exchange & Fees

  • Currency conversion differences may apply

  • Payment processor and banking fees (including FX) may be deducted

These are governed by external payment providers and referenced under Payments in the Terms.

12. Right to Refuse Refunds

Zenious reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of:

  • Policy violations

  • Abuse or misuse

  • Fraudulent activity

This is consistent with enforcement rights outlined in the Terms.

Zenious reserves the right to determine refund eligibility at its sole discretion in accordance with this policy.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, as described in the Terms.
